Tottenham manager Thomas Tudor expressed his feelings after the match: "I'm proud of the team."

In the recently concluded Champions League Round of 16 second leg, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Atletico Madrid 3-2 at home. However, due to the large margin of error in the first leg, Tottenham ultimately lost 5-7 on aggregate, exiting the Champions League in the Round of 16.

After the match, Tottenham manager Igor Tudor gave an interview. Reflecting on the defeat that failed to secure qualification, Tudor admitted to having mixed feelings: "I'm proud of the team's performance, but also very disappointed that we didn't advance."

"But this victory was a huge morale booster before the end of the season, which is very important for the players, the club and the fans."

Tudor praised the players' fighting spirit and the home atmosphere. He remarked, "From the first minute, I could feel the players' strong momentum; they firmly believed they could turn the game around, and that was key."

"It felt amazing on the pitch, and I really enjoyed the magical atmosphere. The fans also saw the players' hard work and fought alongside us until the very last moment."

However, when discussing the turning point of the match, Tudor frankly expressed his regret over the referee's decisions. When Tottenham took a 1-0 lead, Atletico Madrid quickly equalized, but Tudor pointed out that before that, the referee missed a foul on Xavi Simons.

"The referee didn't call that foul; it was a crucial moment in the whole game," Tudor said helplessly. "That's football; victory or defeat often hinges on these details and mistakes."

"If we hadn't had that terrible start in Madrid, our chances of advancing would have been much higher. But that's in the past, and what we need to do now is look to the future."
